Though unsuccessful in 2022, Georgia lawmakers came storming out of the gates in 2023 with a re-energized effort to launch legal betting. A breakthrough was nearly realized in late 2022, but the Senate Bills ultimately failed in the legalization process, pushing everything back to the following calendar year.
While the state of Georgia has not yet legalized sports betting, there is reason to believe that will soon change.
